Born in Bruges. For his family and friends it was obvious from the beginning that he had a particular talent: entertaining people. He could not hide his child wish to become a showman. From his infancy, Steve Ryckier was a real performer and a born humorist. With this nature talent, the way to the art academy was easily found.
Geboren in Brugge. Voor zijn familie en vrienden was het vanaf het begin duidelijk dat hij een bijzonder talent had: mensen vermaken. Hij kon zijn kinderwens om showman te worden niet verbergen. Van kleins af aan was Steve Ryckier een echte performer en een geboren humorist. Met dit natuurtalent was de weg naar de kunstacademie snel gevonden.
For many years he played in various projects with humour and impersonation of famous stars and was able to successfully expand his voices and characters in his one-man-show.He also sang great hits by Elvis Presley and noticed very quickly that the audience responded strongly. That was the beginning of developing his “Elvis Tribute Show” with a large orchestra.
Jarenlang speelde hij in verschillende projecten met humor en imitaties van beroemde sterren en kon hij zijn stemmen en personages met succes uitbreiden in zijn one-man-show. Hij zong ook grote hits van Elvis Presley en merkte al snel dat het publiek sterk reageerde. Dat was het begin van de ontwikkeling van zijn “Elvis Tribute Show” met een groot orkest.
The first Elvis concert was so successful, the rest followed shortly and Steve became known in this specific area of tribute shows. The creation of different concerts styles developed along the way, from a small combo to large symphonic orchestras. Steve would have never thought how all this came suddenly to life. Thanks to all the fans and believers in this great journey, Steve gives the absolute best of himself to honour the biggest star in the music industry ‘Elvis Presley’.

Steve’s preferences of songs can change every concert. Musicians need to be on their toes and very focused! Steve likes improvisation, just like Elvis did back in the days. This program is not a machine, no computers or sequencers are used. What you hear and what you see is a 100% “LIVE”. That is what makes ‘Elvis Extravangza’ so unique! A live experience, full of emotions and bringing back a wonderful memory of ‘Elvis Presley’.
